Regarding the rating for apartment quality: The room where we dry our clothes has an open-ish ceiling, when it rains it rains onto the clothes drying. It also makes the apartment colder, however, this is not a big problem since we have our rooms closed. I do miss having a living room for the roommates and friends to be able to socialize and hang in comfortably, not having one has been fine but I would have rated the apartment quality as better with a living room.
The rooms are great, it is big and have everything I need. I appreciated having a TV. I liked that shelves were numbered in the open areas so that everyone had their space.
I would like to point out the communication issue, whereas the old renter told us regularly that we were getting housecleaning which made us think we had someone who would come and clean for us. To me, housecleaning means a good clean, while in this situation it was meant to as maintenance (?). I understand the new renter´s point of view, in which it seemed like we did not clean too well based on the pictures that the cleaners took. However, it was due to communication issues. So for me, it would have been nice to be informed that there were cleaners for maintenance, which might be something you could take with you to the next person living here.
